February 22, 2012 This weekend, my daddy will attend the birthday celebration of his grandson that is why he went yesterday here, so we just met together with my mom. It was a big deal for us especially when he goes on long trips because of his health. He used to be this super athletic guy but since has slowed down with progressing age and by a couple of heart surgeries plus hip replacements under his belt. Because my dad is an outgoing person, he never bothered his current condition now, instead he likes to travel and see places. My mom provide him this scooter thing to move around with less supervision and more independence because my mom is very understanding person. My dad was all around during the party as he talked with the guests and shared pleasantries with them. I was quite impressed how these mobility scooters allow them to freely do their stuff which they normally or shall I say usually do like for instance this one time when he went out to the porch to smoke. By his lonesome with no need for assistance or my mom standing up to help do his thing, he just excuses himself and scoots from the dinner table. He even does his own maintenance check with it as he just logs in to this website and posts his queries by email. To do some repairs and upgrades, he can request a scooter technician to come over for a scheduled maintenance to check.   This uplifts the spirit of a person like him from being restricted or totally helpless as it would have been a totally different picture for him if not for the device that he had been using now. {More...}
