I am so elated with everything that has been going on with my flower shop, but it is my boyfriend who should take all the credit, we actually started just a couple of months back but sales went up right away. What he did was acquire a call center outsourcing firm to do the promotions and marketing most especially the taking of orders, it really did wonders for us. I only have one assistant, you would not believe me if I tell you that, a delivery guy and myself is running the whole store, walk in customers also come in but it is few and far in between. But the dough actually comes from the orders made through the web, the daily operations actually starts with the call center receiving orders both through the web and from phone calls. They coordinate with us through a protected program that updates automatically every time an order is posted, it is simple, effective and very efficient, I cannot imagine having to supervise a lot of people crowding my store with order slips and all. And you know how it is in a flower shop, it is difficult to keep it tidy with all the cutting and pruning of flowers and leaves. Regarding finances, contrary to peoples beliefs, our contract with the outsourcing firm costs much less than hiring employees, in addition to the equipments that come along and a viable place to position them inside the store. In our sixth month and we are now considering on starting another shop in the city, expanding is not tacky or too costly for us since our marketing arm does not need to transfer nor do we need to pay extra. With all the good things we experienced in working together with a call center firm I believe more businesses will join the bandwagon.

Me and my best friend Dana invested on a business where we make designs for shirts, we make cute and cool doodles on it and even accept hand painting jobs for a more creative design. When we first started our business we only had a couple of white shirts, we wanted to create something interesting and catchy so we decided to print some of our own original designs to the shirts and when we sold it people actually loved our work. When we had enough profit from our good start in our business Dana and I finally decided to make it official, we were finally in the business industry so we were thinking of branding our products but we do not know how to brand them. Because we did not want to rush things up we decided to look for some tips on the internet so that we can learn something about how to actually make a catchy brand name. After finally thinking of a name that was perfect for us we thought of incorporating it with our products so that we can start selling them with our new brand name along with it. The feed backs given by the customers were awesome, they just love our new name and now all our monster shirts and our doodle shoes were newly branded. Then when we were finally on the top of our league in the market we decided on putting up an online store where we could expand our business in the online community. We are happy to accept orders outside the country because we now offer door to door shipments with affordable shipping fee prices, thanks to our new brand we were doing well in the business.

During my teenage years, I am very fond of reading books especially novels on romance, suspense, mystery and horror books. My son commented on what I was reading and for a start gave me an eternal security book for me to read because according to him fantasy stories are no longer fit for my age. I was so thankful to my son who insisted that I should read those books because that was the time that I’ve come to realize how meaningful those books really are. A friend who’s my partner in reading romantic books laughed when she saw me holding a book about the spiritual exercises of some saints and the book entitled: “True Devotion to Mary” but I convinced her to try reading one. Now, we ended up shifting our interest to read these books because for me it makes us understand our true relationship with our Creator considering that even up to this time, we still don’t fully know what eternal life with God is all about. Obeying God’s commandments is not enough in order for anyone to say that he is secured eternally with the LORD if he himself still have doubts on why the Lord sacrificed His life for us. What I learned from the books that I read is that we should be mindful of GOD’s sacrifices when He sacrificed Himself just to save us from all our sins. Now is the right time to ponder all the mistakes that we’ve done and have deep faith in GOD by starting giving thanks to HIM for all favors He has done for all of us and by then we will be able to attain peace and contentment in our hearts. I checked the website of these kinds of books because I am inspired to read them and I was so glad that I can have my orders online.
